A Jewish immigrant to the United States from the former Soviet Union may be deported on a technicality. Vladimir Karsaev is currently in a U.S. jail, awaiting deportation by the Department of Homeland Security because his papers for asylum were not filed after he came to the United States from Belarus, a problem he blames on a quack lawyer, the Intermountain Jewish News reported.
