A Jewish studies degree program in Eastern European Jewry was launched at a Russian university. The program is a partnership involving the host school, St. Petersburg State University, as well as the local Jewish community and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
