A leading Israeli rabbi called on settlers to accept the Gaza withdrawal plan without a fight. “On the day of the evacuation, we will get up and leave our homes without resorting to force,” Shlomo Aviner, chief rabbi of Jerusalem’s Ateret HaCohanim yeshiva and a major West Bank settlement figure, told Yediot Achronot on Wednesday.
