A Massachusetts community appears to have broken the Guinness World Record for “world’s largest shofar ensemble.” Seven hundred and ninety-six people blew the shofar in Sunday’s Great Shofar Blowout in Swampscott, Mass., sponsored by the Robert I. Lappin Charitable Foundation.
