A “mini-tornado” tore through northern Israel. Tuesday’s twister, a phenomenon almost unheard of in the Middle East, caused extensive damage in several Galilee villages. As many as 200 Israelis were lightly hurt by flying debris. Since the weekend, the Jewish state has suffered heavy showers. Meteorologists predicted better weather within days.
