A new project will document the fate of Hungarian Jews during the Holocaust. Established by the Hungarian government, the project is modeled after similar archives of German and Italian Jews created through the efforts of the World Jewish Congress and Israel’s Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
