A New York congressman has called on the Bush administration to add the Palestinian Authority to its list of terrorist organizations. Democratic Rep. Eliot Engel sent a letter Wednesday to Secretary of State Colin Powell, saying the links between the Palestinian Authority and the attacks on Israel are clear, and that the United States should name the Palestinian Authority as a foreign terrorist organization in its next report on Patterns of Global Terrorism.
