A New York congresswoman is circulating a letter among colleagues urging a popular pundit to apologize for advising a Jewish caller to move to Israel. “As members of Congress, and as strong proponents of freedom of religion and the separation between church and state, we urge you to issue an apology to the caller for your insensitive and offensive remarks,” said the letter to Bill O’Reilly drafted by Rep. Nita Lowey (D-N.Y.).
