A New York group is seeking to build a Jewish community center near Ground Zero. The Jewish Week of New York reported that a group called the Jewish Community Project of Lower Manhattan is seeking support and funding for a JCC in the neighborhoods of Battery Park City and Tribeca, near the World Trade Center site.
