A noted black studies professor lashed out at the president of Harvard University and compared him to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Explaining his decision to leave Harvard to teach at Princeton, Cornel West criticized what he described as the insensitivity of Harvard President Lawrence Summers, saying, he “strikes me as the Ariel Sharon of American higher education.”
