A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up at an Israeli military checkpoint in the Jordan Valley of the West Bank. The Palestinian detonated a bomb when a soldier approached to inspect his car, Israeli security sources said. The soldier was slightly hurt after being hit in the leg by shrapnel.
