A plaque is being presented to 23 of Krakow’s Righteous Gentiles. The presentation is part of a two-day event this week in the Polish city honoring Catholic Poles who saved Jews during the Holocaust. Called “In Honor of Those Who Acted,” it is organized by the Polish/American/Jewish Alliance for Youth Action, a recently formed student group aimed at educating Jewish and Polish Catholic young people about their common history.
