A pro-Israel academic condemned as a “publicity stunt” an effort to enforce an academic boycott against Israel. Andrew Marks, director of the International Academic Friends of Israel, blasted an open letter sent to the president of Hebrew University and other Israeli universities demanding that they disclose “what Israeli academic institutions are doing to challenge the behavior” of the Israeli government in the Palestinian-populated territories.
