A protest against the Soviet government for its persecution of Zionism and Zionists in Russia was adopted by the Palestine labor conference in session in Tel Aviv.

The Left Wing of the labor delegates opposed the adoption of this resolution. When it was adopted they left the hall as a demonstration.

Four members of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations have been appointed to the special committee on Child Religion of the National Boy Scouts. The Union members are Judge Edgar J. Lauer of Brooklyn, Charles Shohl of Cincinnati, Rabbi Joseph E. Kornfeld of Toledo, and Rabbi Luis I. Egelson, of Cincinnati.
