A question that blamed Judaism and Islam for the Middle East conflict was removed from a standardized test in Michigan after complaints from Jewish and Arab groups. The social studies question on the test for eighth-graders asked students which main religions contribute to the conflict between Arabs and Israelis. The “correct” answer? C. Islam and Judaism.
