News Brief

A Republican Jewish Coalition advertising campaign calls Barack Obama “weak,” “naive” and “dangerous.”

The ads that began appearing in Jewish newspapers last week ask, “Concerned about Barack Obama? You should be.” They will run “through the forseeable future,” according to RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks, who called it a “very significant and substantial” ad buy but would not reveal the cost.

One ad calls Obama’s foreign policy “weak and naive,” and the other says his position on Iran is “naive and dangerous.” Both note the Democratic candidate’s vote against legislation that would have declared Iran’s Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization, saying in the Iran ad that the “no” vote raises “real questions about his judgment and experience.”
