A resoiution expressing appreciation of the work of Lucien Wolf, secretary of the Joiut Foreign Committee, in handling the Roumanian Jewish situation, was voted by the Board of Jewish Deputies, the federation of Jewish communities in England, at its monthly meeting yesterday.

The resolution refers to the remarkable way in which Mr. Wolf dealt with the Jewish question in Roumania. Mr. Wolf, in reporting on the situation in Roumania, stated that the Joint Foreign Committee. in view of the present change in the Roumanian government, considered the question whether or not the collection of documents should be published before the new government’s attitude is ascertained. However, it was found that the same situation existed last year when the late government came into power and the Board gained nothing by its poticy of waiting. It was therefore decided to proceed with action. The documents will be circulated freely, among non-Jewish bodies as well as Jewish, Mr. Wolf stated.
