A retrial began in the 1986 murder of an Orthodox Jew in Pittsburgh. The prosecutors’ case against Steven Tielsch rests on two “jailhouse snitches” who claim Tielsch spewed anti-Semitic slurs, painted a swastika on his forehead and confessed to killing Neal Rosenbaum. An earlier trial ended in a deadlocked jury.
