A ruling is expected Tuesday in the libel trial brought by a self-described Holocaust revisionist against an American academic and her publisher. Jewish observers are concerned that if David Irving wins his lawsuit against Deborah Lipstadt and Penguin Books it will give legitimacy to Holocaust deniers.
