A student leader of the Hillel campus organization was fired after criticizing Israel. Jilian Redford, a junior at the University of Richmond in Virginia, was ousted as president of the school’s Hillel chapter this semester after e-mailing the Israeli Embassy in Washington to ask that they stop sending her “radical Zionist propaganda,” the Chronicle of Higher Education reported.
