A swastika was painted on the door of the elevator in the Zurich building where Israeli Consul General Yitzhak Meir resides. The building is located in a quiet residential suburb and all the other tenants are Swiss. Meir is scheduled to leave Zurich at the end of August and take up his post as Consul General in Montreal.
