A U.S. court upheld the Bush administration’s decision to freeze the assets of a charity linked to Hamas. In last Friday’s decision, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia said the Treasury Department had enough evidence to shut down the Texas-based Holy Land Foundation, which was closed down in December 2001.
