A U.S. federal appeals court ruled that Orthodox Jews in Tenafly, N.J., may keep their eruv. In its decision on Oct. 24, the court said the religious demarcation that allows Orthodox Jews to carry items on the Sabbath should be allowed on the town’s utility poles.
