A U.S. official said Syria is partly responsible for the recent suicide double bombing in Beersheba. “Why not? Syria holds and houses Hamas. Syria is a conduit of weapons from Iran and Hezbollah. It seems to me that Syria does bear some responsibility,” the deputy secretary of state, Richard Armitage, said last Friday in an interview with Egyptian television.
