A U.S. State Department official met Palestinian Cabinet ministers Wednesday in London to discuss a U.S.-backed “road map” for Middle East peace. William Burns told the Palestinians that formal discussions on the plan would not resume until after Israel forms a new government and would also depend on developments in Iraq, Palestinian official Saeb Erekat told The Associated Press.
