A United Jewish Communities committee approved a resolution Wednesday aimed at increasing overseas funding. The Overseas Needs Assessment and Distribution Committee passed the resolution with only one opposing vote on a conference call. The group decided to maintain the federation system’s 75-25 split in allocations between the Jewish Agency for Israel and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, respectively.
