A Web site for Jewish singles is trying to revive the ancient Jewish holiday of Tu B’Av as a “love day.” “Instead of flocking to card stores in February, Jewish Americans need to know they have a holiday of their own to celebrate the power of love,” said Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, “matchmaker-in-chief” of JDate.com. Tu B’Av begins this year after sundown on Aug. 15.
