The sum of £2,000 was collected during the first week of the Jewish National Fund Drive in South Africa which is being conducted by the Palestine leaders, Joseph Baratz and Abraham Harzfeld.
This sum includes a single donation in the amount of £500 from Michael Haskel.
The campaign goal is a sum which will make possible the redemption of the South African tract of land in the Sharon Valley.
