Jewish organizations and other American religious groups have provided $10,000,000 worth of non-governmental assistance to Korea, including food, clothing, medical supplies, and other commodities, Secretary of State Dean Acheson made known today.
“This outpouring of aid is one more example of the ability and determination of free peoples to assist in overcoming the hardships which have overtaken the people of the republic of Korea in their gallant stand against Communist aggression,” Mr. Acheson said.
