Following in line with other communities in an effort to secure funds to aid the famine-stricken Jews in Bessarabia, Milwaukee will launch its campaign here Monday night.
The drive will be conducted by the Milwaukee Bessarabia Relief Committee, formed at a meeting held at Congregation Degel Israel Anshe Roumania. An effort to secure funds to be dispatched in time to arrive in Bessarabia before the Passover holidays will be the objective of the committee.
