Playgrounds modelled after and conducted like those in America have become so popular in Palestine that four new summer playgrounds are being opened there, according to word received here by Mrs. Sundel Doniger, chairman of the playground committee of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America.
One playground will be in Safed, another in Tiberias, and two in Jerusalem, all under the auspices of Hadassah, Mrs. Doniger said. These will be in addition to the three all-year playgrounds which Hadassah conducts—two in Jerusalem and one in Tel Aviv.
