The Jewish Agency’s Israel Aliyah Center here reported today that 660 Americans and Canadians left for settlement in Israel during July. According to Rabbi Mordechai Kirshblum, chairman of the Center and associate head of the Agency’s Immigration and Absorption Department, “almost as many Americans and Canadians settled in Israel during the first seven months of 1968 as in the whole of 1967.” He said that 1769 Americans have immigrated so far this year compared to 1777 during all of 1967.
