Alberto Gonzales’ nomination to the position of attorney general raises concerns because of his record in shaping the White House’s doctrine on war prisoners, the Reform movement said. The movement wants senators to ask tough questions when the Senate launches confirmation hearings Thursday, two Reform leaders said in a letter Wednesday to the chairman and ranking members on the Senate’s Judiciary Committee.
