All Parties in Denmark Demand German Extension of Nazi Trials

Speaking on behalf of all Danish parties. Per Kaekkerup, the Foreign Minister, declared in Parliament that “deep concern” had been expressed to West Germany over the inaction on extension of the statute of limitations effective date.

He said that conference in West Germany would be weakened if the May 8 cutoff on prosecution of Nazi criminals was permitted to stand. Earlier a meeting on the issue took place attended by representatives of the parties and former war prisoners and members of the anti-Nazi underground movement.
