Allenby to Give His Views on Zionism

Lord Allenby, High Commissioner for Egypt has been invited to give a report on the Zionist situation before the government commission appointed to inquire into the state of things in Palestine, according to information received here.

Prior to the advent of the present civil administration Lord Allenby, as commander in chief of the Egvptian Expeditionary force, was responsible also for Palestine which was then known as Occupied Enemy Territory Administration East.

The prospect of developing a speedy mail service between London and Jerusalem now seems assured. with the announcement that the airship service between England and Egypt wili actually be started in 1924. With the inauguration of this service it is expected that mail from London will reach Jerusalem in three days.

Announcement was also made here today that Sir Herbert Samuel, the High Commissioner, who is now in Europe, has selected a site for the Palestine Pavilon at the British Empire Exhibition which will be held in London. The Palestine Pavilon will cover 5,000 square feet.
