With the exception of two schools for Jewish children which were recently destroyed, all schools maintained by the Alliance Israelite Universelle in Moslem countries are continuing to function normally, Prof. Rene Cassin, president of the Alliance, declared here today in a statement issued prior to his return to France.

Prof. Cassin, who is Vice-President of the French State Council and a member of the U.N. Commission on Human Rights, expressed gratification to the Jews in the United States for the interest they are taking in the work of the Alliance.
