Allies Asked to Retain Supervision over Nazi War Criminals

Philip M. Klutznick, president of B’nai B’rith, today asked the United States, Great Britain and France to retain strict supervision over any Nazi war criminal who might be granted clemency or parole by the proposed review boards to be set up in the occupied zones of Germany. Statements to this effect were sent by Mr. Klutznick to U.S. Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and U.S. High Commissioner for Germany James B. Conant.
