Ambassador Comay Visits Argentina; Tours Ten Latin-american Countries

Ambassador Michael S. Comay, Israel’s permanent representative to the United Nations, met with high Argentine Government officials here today, visiting this capital during his current, 10-country tour of Latin America. The principal purpose of his tour, according to Israeli Embassy officials here, is to familiarize himself more thoroughly with governmental leaders, especially those dealing with foreign affairs, in the various Central and South American countries.

Prior to coming here, Mr. Comay visited Mexico City. Guatemala City, Panama, Bogota, Lima and Santiago de Chile. From Buenos Aires, he is going to Montevideo, then to Rio de Janeiro and finally to Caracas. He is scheduled to return to New York a week from today.
