American Government Plans Post-war Relief for Millions of Suffers in Europe

The United States Government is planning to bring relief on a large scale to the millions of war sufferers in Europe, immediately after the Germans are defeated, it was disclosed here by Adolf A. Berle, Jr., Assistant Secretary of State.

Mr. Berle made this statement at a reception given by the Grand Duchess of Luzembourg in honor of the American Consul at Luxembourg, George P. Walter, who recently returned to this country after the closing of the Consulate.
