A group of 30 young men and women, members of Hechalutz groups in the United States, left by air today for Israel to found a communal settlement in the Jewish state. Originating from various sections of the U.S. and Canada, the unit will settle initially in Kfar Masaryk, named for the late President of Czechoslovakia, and will later form their own colony.
