American Jewish officials arrived in Prague to meet with Czech political leaders. Representatives of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations will meet with Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek and President Vaclav Klaus on their visit, which began Feb. 1 and runs through Monday, ahead of the group’s annual mission to Israel. Conference chairman Harold Tanner praised the Czech Senate for issuing a statement last year opposing Holocaust denial.
