Five national Jewish organizations today called on American Jews to light six candles tomorrow night to commemorate the 6,000,000 Jews murdered by Nazism in Europe. Tomorrow is the eighth anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
The organizations calling for observance of the anniversary are: Jewish labor Committee; Workmen’s Circle; Jewish National Workers Alliance; Yiddish Writers Union; and, World Congress for Jewish Culture.
