The sum of $100,000 was cabled by the Jewish National Fund of America today to the Jewish National Fund headquarters in Jerusalem, together with a message expressing the admiration of American Jews for the courage which the Jews in Palestine are displaying in face of the danger which confronts them.
Signed by Dr. Israel Goldstein, President of the American JNF, the message read: “We wish to convey in behalf of the Jewish National Fund of America our admiration for your fortitude in face of peril and your determination to mobilize maximum resources to resist the enemy. We endeavor to prove worthy of your high example by doing what we can to strengthen your hands. Your faith in the future of Palestine and the victory of the United Nations is undimmed. We dedicate ourselves to redeem more land for more people.”
