The showing here of “Sword in the Desert,” American-made film about the Jewish struggle in Palestine before the creation of Israel, is attracting large crowds, with no untoward incidents.

In Britain several months ago, exhibition of the film was suspended because of fascist hoodlumism directed against it. The press comment on the film is generally favorable, with one newspaper, the Sydney Truth, commenting as follows: “It is pro-Jewish propaganda, but definitely not anti-British, though maybe the Arabs could feel insulted.”
