American Reform Judaism resolved here yesterday to place Israel at the center of its educational activities. A resolution to that effect was adopted by 130 delegates attending the 16th congress of the American Reform Educators Conference. The delegates agreed to send Reform educators to Israel regularly to attend special courses. They asked the Jewish Agency’s education department to organize courses for Israeli students at American universities to train them for teaching assignments at Reform schools.
