Jacob R. Sensibar of Chicago has been re-elected president of the American Technion Society, it was announced today. Re-elected also were David Rose, board chairman; and U.S. Senator Jacob K. Javits and Dr. Abraham Tulin, honorary chairmen.
The Society is a nationwide organization composed mainly of engineers, scientists, industrialists and educators that provides technical and financial support for the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. Mr. Sensibar has been actively identified with all efforts to build Israel through engineering know-how and modern technology. His firm carried out the reclamation of nearly 19,000 acres of swampland in the Huleh region of northern Israel.
