Americans for Peace Now slammed a Republican leader for opposing U.S. aid to the Palestinians. According to reports, Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Texas), the House majority leader, has indicated he will oppose direct U.S. aid to the Palestinians ahead of their presidential elections, saying he wants to see more accountability from the Palestinian Authority before it receives any money.
