An adviser to Ariel Sharon said the Israeli prime minister should consider holding a nationwide referendum on his disengagement plan. Eli Landau spoke Thursday as polls projected Sharon’s Likud Party would reject the plan to quit Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank in a May 2 party referendum.
