An appeal to the leading Jewish communities in the world to support the plea of Hungarian Jews for the revision of the Peace Treaty which curtailed Hungary’s territory will be issued in the name of the Budapest Kehillah.

This decision, giving expression to Hungarian Jewry’s patriotism, was adopted at the annual meeting of the Budapest Kehillah members.

The King has approved of the title of Baron Melchett Landford in the county of Southampton, being taken by Sir Alfred Mond, whose elevation to the peerage was announced in the King’s birthday honors list.
