An Argentine Jewish leader thanked American Jews for their efforts to help the Argentine community. Abraham Kaul said AMIA, Argentine Jewry’s central community agency, has begun to work much more closely with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, which is delivering relief and welfare services to Argentine Jews hard hit by the country’s economic crisis.
